Are you concerned with the growing rate of underinsured families using the emergency room as their primary source of healthcare?
69,000 Summit County residents are without health insurance. To help alleviate the intense financial burden placed upon Summit County hospitals, volunteer through Healthy Connections Network’s Access to Care program.
Access to Care mobilizes volunteer physicians and resources within the community and connects lower income, uninsured, working residents of Summit County to a regular source of healthcare.
By assisting one uninsured person per month through the program, we are setting remarkable nationwide standards to unlock the doors to a healthier community, while keeping emergency room resources available for real emergencies.
